The exhibition Field Research | Best Practices. Cinque architetture-manifesto dell’upcycling in Danimarca, curated by Alberto Bologna and Roberto Germanò (Sapienza Università di Roma), was inaugurated on 16 February 2026 at Casa dell’Architettura in conjunction with the conference Upcycling Architecture in Italy. Smontare, riutilizzare, costruire.

The exhibition presents a photographic and descriptive report of the field research missions carried out in Denmark within the framework of the research project. Developed through two research missions, the work documents site visits conducted with Danish architectural practices and organizations engaged in upcycling and circular construction.

The exhibition illustrates experimental approaches to resource management in the built environment, highlighting operational strategies of reuse, recycling, and material valorization in contemporary contexts. Through analytical panels combining visual documentation and critical interpretation, it offers insight into Danish architectural practices that integrate circular principles within design and construction processes.
